This diploma thesis deals with the assessment of the company information system and the proposal of changes. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first, theoretical part, is focused on the explanation of the basic terms used in the thesis. The second, analytical part contains the introduction of the company, its analysis and also the analysis of the information system. Based on this information, the last, design part is compiled, the content of which is to increase the security of the information system of Tereos TTD, a.s. company.

Ballistic Missile Defense of the United States: comparison of the 2010 Ballistic Missile Defense Review and 2019 Missile Defense Review

1 Annotation Missile defense takes a part of the United States defense strategy since the second half of the 20th century. The approach to the missile defense program has radically changed since. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare practice of two subsequent administrations on the basis of the Barack Obama's 2010 Ballistic Missile Defense Review and Donald Trump's 2019 Missile Defense Review. The comparison is performed by an analysis of each of the documents' strategic narratives. The latter document - 2019 MDR - was released in January 2019 and Trump declared its content "revolutionary" and as a "beginning of a new era" of the missile defense program. Despite the extension of the missile defense concept and the introduction of a new space defense program, the current steps of the Trump's administration do not indicate any radical shifts as described by Donald Trump himself. This thesis also presents a historical overview of the U.S. missile defense and aims to examine the recently released 2019 MDR in the context of the missile defense policy development in the last seventy years. Security Strategy of Small State in the Neighborhood of Great Powers

The following master`s thesis focuses on small states security strategy choices, namely the case of Georgia. According to neorealist assumptions small states choose their security strategy to minimalize the potential threat to their existence. The case of Georgia is anomalous, as it has increased the security risk by choosing its alliance strategy. This work analyses the factors influencing the preferences in choosing a security strategy by neorealist and constructivist approach. The aim of this work is to research whether the selection of the security strategy is a rational choice and if so what other factors influence this choice

The dissertation identifies and analyzes metamorphosis of the US foreign security policy in the 21st century. The main aim is also to identify whether the United States entered a new era with the attacks of 9/11 and whether so called the Bush doctrine was an appropriate reaction to the global terrorism. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter describes the US security strategies since WWII. In the second chapter, foreign security policy of George W. Bush and its metamorphosis is analyzed. The last chapter is devoted to the security strategies of Barack Obama.

The aim of this work is the study of security strategies of the European Union and United States of America using the analysis of relevant documents. The study also contains a part dealing with the implementation of strategies into the political practice and is concerned with the recent development of strategies confronting the updated versions of both strategic documents.
